Avon House was established as a Private Independent Residential Care Home in 1985. The home is situated on a quiet, leafy residential road in the lovely village of Balcombe, part of Haywards Heath. With its central location in Sussex and its short drive to the M23, the home has residents from all over Sussex and Surrey.

We provide a comfortable, safe and caring environment for elderly ladies and gentlemen who for reasons of age, frailty or simply loneliness feel that they are no longer able to live by themselves. We are experienced in providing care for residents with dementia.
The home is family owned, and run by the Registered Manager and her Deputy with the full support of the owners. Following our latest CQC inspection (Sept 2017), we have retained our "Good" rating.

There are strong links with the local community, with the GP Surgery, District Nurses,Churches, Schools and Societies participating in the well-being of residents. The home offers 24 hour care with staff residing on the premises.
